$2,000 Scholarship

We are currently accepting applications for the 2021 Joan Szarowicz Memorial Scholarship.  Qualifying high school graduates are encouraged to apply.  A winner will be chosen to receive a $2,000 scholarship.
 
To be eligible you must be a graduating 2021 high school student; planning to attend (as a full time student) a 2 or 4 year college, university, or trade school; and be a member of AAC for at least one year, prior to applying.

Complete the form below and upload a current semester transcript and a 500 word typed essay or minimum 60 second video.  (For judging purposes, do not state your name in video submissions.)  

Essay topic:  The future of banking. Your generation is the future of banking and we want to know what you think. Use a 500 word essay, or 60 second video, to share with AAC how we can better serve you and your changing needs.  Fresh ideas welcome! 

Your application must be received by April 23, 2021 at 5pm.

The winner is chosen by the most creative written or video essay. Applications will not be accepted after the deadline. The financial scholarship is worth $2000 and made payable to the institution where the student is enrolled. The scholarship may be used toward tuition, books, and housing. Families of AAC staff and board members are not eligible to participate.  The selection process will be completed by May 14, 2021 by the Scholarship Committee.  Chosen student will be notified by telephone thereafter.
